Do not use. They will overcharge you and damage your things.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND DON'T BELIEVE THEIR LIES THAT THERE WON'T BE ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES! I wish I would've read the Yelp reviews prior, but Mario comes off as a friendly and helpful guy. Don't fall for it! I lived in a studio apartment and was in the process of a renovation so I ended up putting my stuff in their storage facility for a month. First, the move to the storage unit cost 50% more than the amount I was quoted (quoted 950, cost over 1300) even though everything was packed in boxes, bins, compression/zipped bags, luggage, etc. except for the furniture. I had some hanging clothes that they put in wardrobe boxes. For some stupid reason, they also put my side tables in wardrobe boxes UNPROTECTED next to a metal shelf, underneath heavy (approximately 10lb. each) bags of clothing, etc. instead of blanket wrapping them. Because of their incompetence and carelessness, they broke a marble top side table from Anthropologie. When my new movers were picking up my stuff from their storage facility, there was no one there when they arrived at 930ish - the paperwork stated that my movers would arrive between 9-11AM. If you care about your stuff, find another moving company.

Worst salesman ever

AVOID this place as much as you can!!! The salesperson’s behaviour was extremely immature and rude. From the very start he was very adamant that he doesn’t want us to get a truck. Despite our polite demeanour and request for a quote, the guy just HUNG up. I demand clarification from either the management or the individual himself regarding whether this is typical conduct for your sales team or just the guy.

Great Service!

This was my first time using a moving company and Imperial Moving was recommended to me by a coworker. The movers were amazing. They disassembled what was necessary and wrapped everything perfectly. James was one of the foremen and he communicated the process to me along the way. He also made sure to check each piece was loaded into the truck correctly. They made me feel like my belongings were their belongings with the level of care and overall expertise. James and the other foreman Sergio were clearly seasoned moving professionals and I’d highly recommend their service. Tip: speak to their client relationship department first to ensure you get their more seasoned movers-or ask for James!

Long-distance move from New York to New Jersey

Less than Satisfactory.

We recently used Imperial Moving for our move from the UES to Weehawken, NJ.  I was extremely disappointed with our experience.  While they ultimately completed the job and moved our furniture and contents, it was definitely not done without damage and headaches.  Knowing that their initial quote over the phone would be a low-ball offer, we requested an on-site visit to get a more accurate quote.  After a representative visited us, we were given a more realistic quote that we were satisfied with.  However, come moving day, it seemed our sales agent Anthony, did not communicate half of what the representative saw at our on-site visit.  The movers didn't even know we had stairs at our new location even though I repeatedly told the sales agent we did.  Throughout the move they said they would have to charge us additional for this and for that which ultimately was going to add hundreds of dollars to our initial quote.  After some debate we settled on an increase of $150 over our initial quote.  This was done mostly because we felt bad that the actual movers (who are doing the back-breaking work) weren't notified about certain characteristics of our new property.  Now I don't know if this is standard moving practice, but we had five movers taking furniture/contents out of the old apartment and only three on the other side for the move in.  Maybe this is a tactic to increase the overall time it takes to complete the move therefore giving them a reason to charge us more?  However, what I was most disappointed with was the un-repairable damage done to a piece of our furniture.  This was a dresser that was in the family for years and the huge chunks of wood that were chipped off will never allow it to be restored to its initial condition.  Their insurance policy is the standard commercial "$.30/lb” so even if we said the dresser weighs 200 lbs, the most we would receive would be $60.  After submitting a claim to their support team and leaving several messages, I finally heard back from them seven days later with an offer of $100 in hopes this would mitigate our concern over the damaged furniture. But what I found truly offensive, was attached to that $100, was a stipulation that we have to sign a contract agreeing not to leave any bad feedback on any social media outlets.  Basically, they offered us an extra $40 as hush money to sweep our experience under the rug.  This alone is why I am writing this review and I will make it a point to tell anyone I can about how this company treats you as a customer.

Forced into paying cash for undeclared charges!

Warning –this moving company is a complete scam. They are dishonest and try to trick you into paying cash for undeclared charges. My movers showed up today towards the latter end of their time slot and everything started out fine. However, when trying to disassemble my bed, one of the movers struggled a bit with a screw on the bed because the screw head had been worn down. He came to me and told me he’d likely have to leave the entire bed frame behind. I went and found a wrench for them (why didn’t they have this when doing a move??) and helped remove the screw myself. Before leaving my apartment, the movers took payment from me for the agreed amount of $500 in credit card. However, they also told me I owed them the amount for tolls to NJ, in CASH. When I asked how much this would amount to, the mover told me $60!! He made a call to his “friend” at the company asking whether I could pay in credit, and I was told it had to be cash. I was not aware that tolls could be this high since in my experience driving to-from NJ, I would have expected it to be about $20. I now know that trucks are much pricier, but I think it’s only fair that amounts this high be disclosed prior to signing the contract instead of being left to a surprise. Luckily, I had the cash on hand and paid them $60. They did not provide me a receipt. They asked if I would pay gratuity and I said twice that it would be paid at the destination. I was having my furniture shipped to my elderly mother’s home in NJ. To be safe, I called up the moving company and explained to them the situation with the tolls and that I was surprised that an amount this large was demanded upfront in cash. They told me that tolls to NJ are typically about $50 and that I’d get an invoice after the trip. I informed the representative that I had paid $60 and that I was not given a receipt. The representative told me that he would speak with the movers. I said I’d just subtract the $10 form the tip I planned to give the movers. When the movers got to my mother’s home, they struggled once again to assemble the furniture. They tried to force a small 4-person table through the door even though I requested at the origin for them to remove the legs. My mother had to provide them a screwdriver to get it through her front door and after removing the legs they did not put it back together.  Finally, they demanded another $10 in tolls saying what I had given them was not enough. Since when do tolls to NJ cost $70?!? They continued to harass my elderly mother for the $10 and refused to leave the house until she signed a piece of paper saying we owed them $10 when once again there was NO WAY for us to verify their claims on the toll quantities.  My mother signed the form and provided a meager tip to get them to leave the house.   In my 4 years in NYC, I have moved many times and this was by far the WORST experience I had with any moving company. I highly advise that all customers steer clear of Imperial movers. Take your business elsewhere. When researching my move, I had found 4 companies around /- $20 of the price I paid, some of whom included tolls. Had I known about Imperial and their “toll” chargers, I would have taken my business elsewhere.  Now I feel obliged to warn others and spare them of these frustrations and fraudulent charges. .

Bait & switch on pricing, inefficient, damaged items and did not wear.

They quoted me a 4 hr estimate for a standard 1 bedroom move and they ended up taking 8 hours for no reason. Since they charge by the hour, the incentive is to take as long as possible and overcharge you.

They get their customers by providing a reasonable price/time estimate, and on the day of the move, once I was already stuck with this service, the team of 3 men they sent worked so inefficiently that the move took 8 hours instead of 4! 2 of the 3 men were mostly standing by the truck talking the whole time while waiting for the third one to slowly disassemble my furniture and to wrap it on his own, which created a huge bottleneck. The other 2 would then proceed to move/load it only once an item was available. On top of that, they basically damaged almost every single furniture piece they moved: my pull out couch does not pull out anymore, they damaged coffee table, tv stand, and cabinet etc And nothing says unprofessional more than damaging my tv screen, which is clearly a fragile item!

I complained to the company about the lazy, inefficient job they did, and they completely ignored it. I was supposed to pay around $820 but instead it cost $1815 for no reason! Plus all the damages I have to cover.

Also, none of the 3 workers wore masks despite the pandemic and although we prompted them to!

I deeply regret having used them, I would strongly suggest you stay away. Either complete the move yourself or hire a company that does not use a bait and switch and provides a reliable quote!

Excellent job, particularly during snowstorm

The imperial moving guys did a great job moving our stuff. They were respectful of our time and our stuff, taking great care to make sure our stuff was moved in safely like it was their own! What is more impressive is they did this directly after a snowstorm and made sure to handle everything with great care.

I have nothing but great things to say about the group and it's professionalism, I would use them again for a future move.

Moving Day!

Usually moving apartments in NYC is a NIGHTMARE. This team made it smooth, easy and affordable! Beko, Alfredo & George are a 3-man miracle crew who were fast, efficient and made sure our belongings were carefully wrapped, packaged and transported — even the herbs and spices! It took about 3.5 hours to pack our one-bedroom and only 30 mins to unpack at our new home. 10/10 would recommend! #lifesavers

Long-distance move from New Jersey to Florida

Long Distance Moving from NJ to Florida (Totay team in NJ and

After almost 3 weeks of extensive research and looking at pictures of other clients I chose Imperial Moving to make my move from New Jersey to Florida based on their Google rating and also the price.

I dealt with everything with Sarah, I sent my inventory with all possible details, including numbers of boxes, measurements of all my furniture and what I needed to disassemble and assemble.

She gave me the price, and 4 days before I confirmed everything with her, I double checked the price, the schedule times and most important, the usual tip recommended for the movers, which was 20% of the half of the total amount on the pick-up day, and the same rule, on the delivery day.

On the day of the pick-up (07/16/2021) I took all possible precautions, placing protectors on the floor and handles. The mover team (total of 3) leaded by Totay, arrived on time and did everything with agility and care with my furniture, and protecting all of my belongs, even adding additional care with my boxes. Nice and respectful team.

Delivery was scheduled for 14 business days, but arrived on 07/24/2021 well ahead of schedule.

Another team made my delivery here in Florida. I booked the freight elevator for a period of 3 hours and they complained about the fixed hours scheduled for the elevator. It made me feel a little uncomfortable because the building where I live has rules and I can't keep the elevator reserved for me full time. In the end, my building administration authorized me to use the elevator out from my scheduled time with the condition that if someone started to use the elevador, the company would have to wait. Booked time from 10:30am to 13:30pm. They arrived at 12:50pm and they had to wait someone to load/unload some stuffs. The mover team was also done very carefully and quickly by the crew (3 in total) and they were fast and kind.

To have a good experience is important to:

Make sure you understand what is expected in terms of tips from each move company you are quoting prices. I suggest you to add it as costs of your move.

Pack your belongs properly: Boxes will be smashed and your belongs will get broken if YOU don’t protected them when you packed it to allow boxes to be stacked. You have 50% responsibility here.

Beware of everything that can increase the price. The only way to avoid surprises is to checking/understanding all factors that increase the price, such as number of steps in a stairway, parking distance, wrong numbers in the inventory.

Details My move was for a room with a total of 18 large boxes and furniture, total of 35 items, cost was U$ 2670. + tip + toll.

The moving-in process is stressful, you have to worry about everything, but at the end, my belongings arrived perfect.

I recommend Imperial Moving and their teams (NJ/Florida) that worked in my moving journey, also Sarah which assisted me extremely, providing me quick answers by email/phone.

Horrific experience —- They will break or lose everything you own

Imperial Movers should be investigated by the BBB and I strongly advise anyone who is considering using them to think twice. Imperial broke or lost almost every single large furniture item that I own. They lost 4 of my couch cushions, which cannot be replaced individually, rendering the entire sectional worthless. A few photos of the damage are included: a cracked vanity that no longer stands upright, desk drawers smashed with the knobs busted in, a $2000 bar cabinet scratched and dinged all along the edges, a lamp snapped in half. In total, I have no less than $10,000 in broken furniture and lost items. This was a local move…. I don’t even know how this much damage could have been done. The guys that moved me in and unpacked admitted that the crew that packed the items did a horrible job and even told me to report them. When I contacted Kevin at Imperial (who handles damage issues), he did not respond. I had to follow up multiple times and then copy someone who handles move scheduling to even get a response. They literally do not give a fuck. After almost a month of attempting to get a response, Kevin offered me $400. $400 is less than I was aggressively bullied into tipping each moving team during the move out and in (I was planning on tipping $200 or so, and have never felt more uncomfortable in my life than when a burly 6 ft+ man cornered me, a woman alone in my empty apartment, and intimidated me into tipping more…. going so far as to suggest that 30% of a $2000+ move is “mandatory”). If that didn’t make me angry enough, imagine how I felt when I found all of my things lost or broken after being so negligently packed and tossed into their truck. It’s truly insulting. After the thousands I spent on the move out and in, storage fees, and tips, I might as well have thrown out everything I own and replaced it 3x over. Keep in mind I have now had to pay thousands of dollars more to have the items moved OUT of my new apartment, paid to have a junk truck lug them away, and then purchase all new items….. and because of supply chain issues, practically everything I’ve had to order is back ordered 3-6 months.

DO NOT USE IMPERIAL MOVERS. You’re better off throwing your furniture down the stairs and hoping for the best.

I am reporting them to the BBB and intend on commencing legal action, as well as warning every person I know about this horrible moving company. Please spread the word and protect others from similar losses.

Beware of Imperial Moving & Storage.

Worst Moving & Storage Company Used this company for a move out, storage and move into new home. I have many boxes missing from storage let alone items were broken, boxes were also crushed. Beware of their tactic on day of move they expect someone to stand next to the movers to count the boxes as if your entire home contents are being moved out then they use that tactic on the day of move in and insist you sign paperwork that you have received all the  boxes. How are you supposed to do that plus there is no way to open every box in front of them. They also left items on the truck that were large and not boxed and ready to drive off. I contacted  them no communication, called several times then told they would look in the warehouse - no luck and what we would offer you is very small - many of the missing boxes had costly items in the boxes. On top of that you are told to give a 40% tip when they arrived on the job. I expected them to take this situation serious and it was not! Boxes had broken pieces in them I asked about the sound and told "don't worry".

Long-distance move from New York to Maryland

Avoid at All Costs.

I am just in the quote process and what a mess this company is.

I had an onsite scheduled only to get a call that same day basically cancelling. Then it's put back on for 3pm and teh guy shows up at 12:30pm. I was working from home and had to cancel a call to accommodate him just showing up.

I gave him 3 dates we could move and when I finally got the quote it had the following week as the moving date.

I sent an email and called to get it corrected only to deal with Sarya who was beyond rude and unprofessional. Then a manager, I think Alan or Anthony called and launches into a whole tirade which eventually ended with him upping the quote by $400. I asked him why he was so aggressive and huffy because I listened to him speak and whenever I tried to say anything he huffed and puffed like a 12 year old who didn't get their way.

Super unprofessional company. If this is how they are at the sales stage, can only imagine how awful they are at the actual moving stage. No thanks! Schleppers here I come!

The Worst-- Unreliable, Unprofessional And Rude!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH ANY MOVING COMPANY..
They canceled my move 36 hours before move time because they could NOT comply with my building’s insurance requirements. Of note, I scheduled the move ONE FULL MONTH in advance, and I was repeatedly told by different staff members—Solaiman, then Charmin-- that they would take care of it—but they never did, and I got an email (!) at the last minute, claiming that the email from my building went into “junk mail” so they didn’t know there was a problem.

When I called Imperial very upset about them suddenly canceling my move, I spoke with Ruma, who was the most condescending and unprofessional person I have ever encountered. She tried to blame my building and told me that their company would NOT move me because it was not financially beneficial for them. "It's not going to happen. We're not going to pay $1000 to correct our paperwork for a $300 move.”

She was purposefully evasive and would not let me speak with any supervisor or higher-up. She actually said, “The owner--Daniel Norber--is in Israel and isn’t going to bother with this.” I explained that this was reportable to Consumer Affairs Bureau, and she said, "It doesn’t make a difference." Click.

- they claimed via email thatthey would refund my money, and I will see if this is the case, but that is beside the point-- since they left me high and dry at the last minute for my move!!

-I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS LEVEL OF UNRELIABILITY AND UNPROFESSIONALISM WITH ANY COMPANY!!

Worse move ever.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE:
*If you want them to sit around while you’re paying them by the hour..
*If you want your furniture damaged, items dropped, broken and smashed..
*if you want items lost or stolen that never show up or arrive at your new location..
*if you want the WORST possible support team, that doesn’t respond to emails or phone calls and then calls you a liar..
*If you want a company that takes ZERO accountability for their wrong-doings..

If all of those things apply to you and your move, then Imperial Moving is your company.

If you value your possessions, your time and your money, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Do Not Use Imperial Moving.

Problems remaining from a NOVEMBER move (writing this in JULY)   Moved from NY to Fl. Among items missing is a box that contained electronics, and DVD's including my WEDDING VIDEO. I have spoken to Raul (Spelling sorry). He said he would take care of searching for the items, and will call back. That was 3 Weeks ago. Spoke to Avi, he said I don't know why Raul was helping you. I will take care of that. I will call you back in a few hours. Let me search the warehouse. That was 2 weeks ago Spoke to Front Desk today to speak with Avi, said he will be in at noon, call back then. Called a noon, Avi is in a meeting. Transfered to another person who said I need to speak with Sivan, Avi does not handle problems.. Sivan is not in today (Wednesday).. Does not seem like a well organized company, and I can never seem to speak with anyone except the front desk person. Messages are either ignored or never given to the appropriate person. If you do go with them, good luck, and I hope you do not have any problems.

Long-distance move from New York to Georgia

Do not use..water leakage problem damaged valuable books & clothes.

I moved from Manhattan to Atlanta in June 2012. I was going out of the country for 6 weeks and hired Imperial movers to pack my stuff and hold the boxes in their storage until August when I would be in Atlanta to accept the delivery. Their agents were nice, gave a reasonable quote and also managed to deliver the stuff on the date I was promised. So no major complaints in that aspect, except that the packers were just too quick and mixed up some of my belongings (no separation of items between kitchen/stationary/bedroom etc.) it was not done in an organized fashion). Also, the labels were missing on some of the boxes and this caused difficulty when unpacking because I needed the kitchen items first but couldn't find them until I unpacked all 50 of my boxes. The main problem that I wanted to mention is that many (about 10 boxes) were wet on the day of delivery. The boxes actually were torn because they got wet due to the rain. My husband had several expensive books in at least 4-5 boxes (he is a physician) and the remaining boxes had our clothes that were ruined due to discoloration. Prior to hiring Imperial movers, I had seen a review by someone who had a similar complaint and I brought it up with the sales guy. I told him that my husband has expensive books and we cannot afford to let that happen to us. He told me that the incident had happened more than a year ago because the storage place had some leaks but that had been fixed and there are no problems now. He convinced me that everything is fine. But to my horror, several of my boxes were damaged due to the rain and the truck driver told me that it was because there was a leak in the truck. I don't care what the reason behind it is, I specifically requested the sales guy to make sure the boxes don't get wet and he assured me that there won't be any problem. I am extremely disappointed in that aspect. I would like to attach pictures of the damage caused but looks like there is no option for that. Bottom line, I would not move with these guys again. FYI - I came across imperial movers online. I did not have any furniture except for a dining table (4chairs) - my stuff was basically 50 boxes.

Great Service.

I had an incredibly complicated move in which I had to be out of my old apartment on a Saturday and in my new place on a Monday. I wasn't able to plan anything until the day before my move, and was turned down by a number of moving companies who were already fully booked. In a panic, I called the team at Imperial Moving. They were not only incredibly accommodating, they offered to keep my furniture in storage through the weekend. The move was quick & painless, and on top of it all, the price was about half what other moving companies had quoted me. Totally worth it. These guys made the pain that is moving a lot more bearable. I would use this company again and reccomend it to all. Bravo on the services!

Amazing!

I can't say enough thanks and praise for these people!I had a multi-state move, about 100 miles each way from CT to NJ. If that alone wasn't scary lets add to the pile that my move (outside of movers) was adding up and I was depleting my savings so quickly it was making my head spin! When I got the amazing quote from Ruma at imperial I had to email her back and make sure she wasn't mistaken. She insisted she wasn't and not to worry. This was my life saver! My movers were not only professional but they were courteous and friendly. They handled everything with supreme care and attention to detail. The foreman was very polite and nice and went out of his way to explain what they were doing so that I wouldn't worry about a thing (we even offered to help and he said we should relax and enjoy some down time!)I have used other NYC based movers and they didn't come CLOSE to how wonderful these guys were. Ill be singing your praises for a long time to come. Please thank my moving team for me one more time, they made something as stressful as a move feel smooth and painless! Also, Ruma, the person who organized and quoted all of this from the beginning she was kind and patient with me and her quote was so on spot you'd think she had a magic ball ;) She helped me feel confident in my decision to use Imperial from the very start!I hope that more people use Imperial, because they deserve the customers and Id love for everyone to see how stress-free a move can be!

Imperial Moving and Storage Rocks!

Imperial Rocks!! I've heard many good things about its wonderful service before but this time I myself have experienced this, the best mover in this country. I've moved many times and had many uncertainties before moving. But this time Imperial helped me remove many worries in setting up my schedule and estimating costs. Tanya, the representative was very patient and efficient to contact my current and new buildings with the Insurance Certificate so that I could get approval for moving on a specific date. I called her many many times with countless emails but she was very willing and happy to help. I could get answers to my questions immediately from her.Now I'm all set to move on Saturday and I am very sure that my move will be a very smooth one. Thank you, Tanya and Imperial !

They Lose Electronics!

We used Imperial Moving and Storage after finding mostly positive reviews online. We ignored the few warnings and that was a mistake. While they were cheaper than other movers we received quotes from, they made up for that by "losing" all of our electronics. The boxes we had that had branding (like Sony, Samsung etc) and were not generic cardboard boxes were all "missing" during the move. After multiple calls to their office, they stopped responding or returning calls. They handled the rest of our stuff well, including wrapping wooden furniture to protect it. I would recommend using this service if you plan to move all of the valuable stuff on your own and leave the other items to the movers. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Great experience.

I've had great experiences with Imperial and so have my relatives who've suggested them to me. Starting from the office consultants, to the movers that helped me. We're human, we make errors, I think asking the right questions and approaching people who provide us services with a kinder demeanor goes a long way. I'm sorry for those who didn't have the most pleasant experience. I wanted to share how satisfied I was with my move.

Terrible Movers.

BEWARE. If I could give zero stars I would. I was moving from NYC to Chicago and we went with Imperial as they guaranteed a date for arrival. The day before expecting to arrive I received a confirmation email letting me know the movers would be arriving 3+ hours after expected. Then after this barely anyone in the office would speak to us or email us. The movers were 24 hours late and the office had lied to us. They forgot about my job and then when trying to discuss the final bill no one would even come to the phone. They threatened to leave with my belongings if we paid. We wanted to discuss a discount and no one would speak to us. The driver also had the audacity to complain about our tip. Horrible scam artists. No customer service and not to be trusted!!

SCAM ARTISTS 0 stars if I could!

On 8/24 I spoke with Antonio from Imperial Movers and proceeded to reserve a moving date of 8/31. They explained that was their busiest time of year and proceeded to send me an invoice me for 630.00. They had me leave a $100 deposit despite the fact their policy reads that there's a $50 deposit required at the time of the reservation. I came to learn on 8/25 that the move was not going to happen on 8/31 as regularly scheduled at which point I both called and emailed Antonio at Imperial Movers notifying him that the move has been put on hold until further notice. On 9/13 I was notified that I could move forward with the move at which time I called and inquired what the price would be for a move on 9/28. I provided all details I.e. to and from address (which is 3 blocks) how many items etc..read the info directly off of the original invoice provided to me by Imperial on 8/24. The gentleman on the phone (Wilbert) quoted me $385. I asked him to apply my 100 deposit to the new invoice at which point he inquired with Antonio who said it was fine to proceed. At that point (9/13) he sent me an email reflecting the new invoice in the amount of $385. I reached out via email on 9/19 as the move date was quickly approaching and I wanted to make sure they sent their insurance certificate to the building. I received no response. I called and asked to speak with Antonio on 9/20 however I was told he was not in the office. I proceeded to send him a second email reminder asking him to send the insurance certificate to the building once again no response. He got back to me later in the day on 9/20 and proceeded to explain that not only were they unable to get to me on the morning of 9/28 as originally explained and stated in the invoice he sent to me but his colleague Wilbert had made an error in the invoice that the cost has since changed to $630! This was a week before my scheduled move! They didn't once bother to reply to my prior emails but rather chose to wait a week before my scheduled move to tell me that the price has just doubled..talk about last minute! At this point I had my daughter speak with them directly as my english is not good. When my daughter initially called to speak with Antonio they told her he wasn't there. She proceeded to tell them that if he or his manager did not get on the phone she was reporting them to the BBB and sure enough Antonio immediately became available. My daughter explained to Antonio what they were practicing unethical business and operating an outright scam informing the client a week before their move. We received the cost in writing a few weeks back and now suddenly as explained by Antonio September has suddenly become the most busiest season and his colleague was in error etc. He would not give my daughter an opportunity to speak but rather continues to speak over her. She asked to speak with his manager repeatedly and he repeatedly explained that he was the manager and if she wanted she could send an email to customer care. She was getting nowhere with him. She explained she would be reporting the Co. to the proper authorities and that's exactly what we did. We also sent an email to the owner Daniel Norber and have received no response at all. I have yet to receive my $100 deposit back! Also if you look up the Co name online there are a number of complaints and scam postings regarding this company. I should have done this from the start but I was desperate at the time. I called 10 different movers and nobody had availability. I would by no means of the imagination refer this company..they should be shut down immediately for operating a scam operation. I hope noone else has to go through this.

Horrible Experience!! Charged Double The Estimate!!

HORRIBLE experience! Be warned. The company charged me double what they quoted and the following issues arose:
Boxes and packing materials I requested delivered on a Sat were not delivered until the Tues morning before my Wed move
Needless to say, this made packing my apartment difficult
My move was scheduled for 2-4pm
No one arrived until 6pm even though I'd let the company know my building's elevator can only be reserved until 5pm (thankfully my doorman looked the other way)
Only 2 out of 4 movers arrived at 6pm (2 hours past their scheduled window)
The others didn't arrive until 6:30pm
Only 1 of the movers did their job in a timely manner. The other movers went missing repeatedly for long smoking breaks
When I asked why they were gone so long, they laughed and said they're working
The move for my 1 bedroom took a ridiculous total of 8 hours - it did not finish until 2:15am!!
One mover inappropriately reminded me which box he'd put my personal items in - 3 times
Being charged double the original quote for this unacceptable and unprofessional experience was infuriating. One of the movers even said he agreed that his coworkers were slow and unprofessional and that I shouldn't be charged extra. When I took this up with management, they refused to issue a fair refund.
